Our day in Madrid started with the Warner Brothers Amusement Park located in Parque which was in the outskirts of the city. Dressed up in shorts and tees, we were ready to hit the road.
We visited in the month of May and the weather was quite chilly.
We took the Renfee (local trains in Europe) to the closest station and hopped on to the cab.
It is at quite a distance from the city. We were really excited to get to the park.
Take Note: If you arrive after 4 pm in the park, you get to pay a reduced ticket amount + get the 2nd day free!
The park was divided into 4 different themes.
They were Cartoon Village, The West territory (more like an old town), Hollywood and Superheroes world.
The cartoon village was awesome. The dreamy horse merry-go-round, scooby doo rides, tom and jerry swings were all great fun. Then came the old world. It actually looked like the movie sets using set ups identical to the olden days.
This part of the park was a visual treat. The most interesting activity here was called the Inferno.
You have to shell out some extra bucks for this one but you will be in the most scary world for a few seconds 🙂
Another awesome thing you can do is click photos in old world costumes on a set created by the professional photographers.
This costs an additional of 15 euros so we skipped it. We ran to the Hollywood part instead.
We did not find this one very interesting. The same old Hollywood saga.
The super heroes world was indeed fun! Batman and Superman are truly amazing.
And the roller coaster rides are to die for!
It was time to go back home after a tiring day but we kids had fun at play! Especially in the Batman house which freaks you out.
We hustled our way through the day and rode back home happy and high.
