Hyatt Pune is a lovely business hotel with a great location and some of the best facilities within its premises.
We spent a night in this hotel on our visit to Pune.
We headed straight to the spa, Hyatt Spa. We will give you more dope on one of the best spa experiences we have had in another post. But for now, you need to know that the therapists are trained from Ananda Himalayas and their treatments are going to make you crave for more!
Post the spa, we quickly kept our luggage in the room and planned to head for coffee. Though the rooms weren’t the most spacious, other facilities of the hotel are incredible.
The compact room has a walk in closet which has been designed keeping in mind the needs of a business traveler.
A firm believer in conservation, you will find a note on the pillow requesting you to be minimal with linen change. The washroom features a sky shower (our favorite) but no bathtub, again a belief that a business traveler might not require one with a hectic schedule at hand.
The pool area is one part of the hotel where you can spend all day and all evening, relaxing!
The charming pool side cabanas are perfect for an evening drink and even a short nap.
Around the hotel you will find many spaces which cater to outdoor bliss. One of these spots is the secret Yoga garden, hidden beneath a stairway. The garden offers a beautiful view of the city and is perfect for meditation, exercise or just a stroll. It is located close to the gym area.
If you are in Pune and if you are planning a date or just a wonderful evening, drop into Eighty Eight for a cup of coffee. It has definitely become my favorite place.
Eight Eight, the all day dining restaurant in the hotel, open between 7:00 am to 12:00 am, has an outdoor seating area where we spent our evening having coffee. Cool breeze coupled with the perfect ambiance makes this space irresistible.
After a lovely experience at Eight Eight, we headed to the adjacent lounge called The Fishbowl! Pretty interiors and the outdoor is connected to Eight Eight. So the coffee place turns into a party lounge in the night! Very cool, we say.
We had an early dinner at Baan Tao, the key restaurant of the hotel. Baan Tao is again easily one of my favorites. The Asian restaurant, recently famous for the Shabu Shabu festival, is definite luxury. Read about our wonderful experience here.
On our property tour, we visited the garden suite, one of the most lavish rooms of Hyatt Pune.
A cute little balcony/garden is attached to the suite.
One thing we could not help noticing was the fragrance each floor area contained. Placing oil diffusers made all the difference. We slept well and got up fresh to a massive spread of breakfast at Eighty Eight.
Our stay was comfortable and we recommend this hotel to business travelers for the wonderful facilities.
We also highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a unique food (Baan Tao) and Spa (Hyatt Spa) experience.
