HongKong can be really hot in summers, its best to waddle across the Ocean park in the day.
We had exactly 3 days in HongKong and we wanted to make the most of it. Though this place is huge on parties, we skipped that bit and made way for a more relaxed holiday.
Staying around Central can be your best bet in scorching summers. Absolutely pack a pair of walking shoes because even though the transportation is just perfect, there will be a lot of walking to do.
The trams and the trains will be your best friends for most part of the holiday here.
We were on our way to HongKong’s most popular amusement park, since we had only been to one, long back in Madrid.
Ocean Park had a cool off summer party running.
With Panda baloons…
…and a shower of bubbles.
Ocean Park is full of roller coasters, a polar region, the grand aquarium, a summer special foam party, real big pandas and even PENGUINS!
Hopping around from one corner of the park to the other is a race.
Well rewarded with cuddles of a black and white panda, who just woke up after a looooong afternoon nap.
And after a couple of rolls, began playing with water.
Just opposite this one, hid the red panda, still half asleep.
A big fan of Kung Fu Panda, we got pretty darn excited.
With other photo props too!
By the time dusk arrived, we were on to the cable car for a spectacular night view of HongKong.
And an aerial view of the park, that was now glowing with a dancing fountain.
When we got off, we stepped into a galaxy of fishes. Big and small, black and white and coloured, thin and fat ~ they were all sorts.
The pictures are not half of what we experienced.
And then came blobs of cuteness. PENGUINS!
Some were already sleeping, some were dancing. But, PENGUINS!
This arctic region had man made wolf pups and owls.
We are going to Arctic the next time to see them in person.
Try your luck at the games outside.
The gorgeous day ended with oodles of honey pancake – a ten on ten Chinese dessert.
We gobbled a lot of noodles too, which got over before we could click.
