A chain of social eateries have begun doing the rounds in Bombay. Springing up like mushrooms across the town.
On our trip to SoBo’s swish hub Palladium, we instantly spotted the Palladium Social & walked straight in.
Actually not straight in – it is easy to miss the completely camouflaged door.
A quirked up menu seems to be the in thing. So much fun to read this one.
There was a What The Duck Burger in the menu and the The Elvis Presley French Toast that has stuck to our minds.
The decor completely blended with the quirk.
Charging points, hanging over the table.
The menu rolled over as tabloids & a funky toilet roll for tissues.
We ordered some shakes and poutine to begin with.
The Ferrero Rocher shake and Peanut Butter frappe it was. Made to perfection.
With a little Pickwick wafer attached to each. Old school charm.
The Cheese poutine is a great side dish. But we thought their fries were a tad bit overfried and lacked spice.
So we got a bit generous with the table sauces.
Munching and planning our next vacation.
Too bad we had to get back to work, the beer was skipped.
The bar really looked stocked.
But we settled for our main course and were ready to go.
A Phuket fish burger and Jalepeno cheese nads showed up.
A luscious and creamy core enveloped in an oil kissed kitkat crunchy layer blew us. We will go back for this.
