We took a break. A not-sure-how-many-days break from our day jobs. And we are not traveling.
So, right now we are making a to-do list of must-go eateries, clubs, movies and everything you do off work, in Bombay.
Might as well soak in the joy of a home break especially since we might be moving, but we will tell you more about that later.
An obvious choice for our first day was the Hard Rock Cafe, Worli.
And after much dabbling of various menus, we chose to pick the latest on offer.
The last time we were here, these guys had a sizzle festival on. What a fun way to discover new menus every now and then!
And while our order was in the bake, we decided to walk around.
This place is so huge and so legendary, you got to see the little exhibits around.
Quite a collection.
Quickly we hopped back to our seats for a king size indoor cookout.
Our table was laden with Fries, more fries and so much more fries.
Well coupled with Pomegranate vodka shandy.
That turns magically red on stirring.
The carnival fiesta fries, topping the list on the menu, fused with chicken chunks is what we would go back to this place for.
The chicken seems like chicken’s cousin, that we have never tasted before. It is godsent.
And an absolute next recommendation would be the L.A confidential veg burger.
Now, we know that the Hard Rock chicken burgers are chief, but this veggie was quite a delicious surprise with double patty and beetroot mix.
Don’t judge us for our hogging specialities. When we have to eat a meal so big, we usually try and do with tiny morsels for breakfast.
We always give in to the guilty pleasure of good food and drinks.
This one, a Mexicana submarine has a nice tangy flavour to it.
To wash down all the lovely bites, a giant Maria Maria Cornorita Corona (A cascade of beer and margarita) accompanied.
Prepared with pomp on the table itself.
Perfect for those with a strong taste.
The Rocktober fest at Hard Rock cafe is on untill the 8th of November. We might just go back for the rest of the menu.
