By the time we got used to our heart skipping a beat at everything we saw in Amsterdam, we realized we were far from it.
Just outside our hostel was the grand Concert Gebouw, a treat for music lovers.
Though you got to book a show beforehand.
And the postcards coming to life.
Amsterdam at this time of the year is at its beautiful best.
The flowers begin to bloom and if you do not wish to go as far as kekenhof, the tulips garden, they are ready to please you within the city.
Just enter the main flower market by the Amstel canal.
In every color imaginable.
Even a cycle of full of tulips and tulip men hand over a welcome flower to you!
Within the market, you can also take back the best of Holland in your suitcase.
Or if you wish to pick some tid bits along (other than Cheese tasting, ofcourse!).
But we decided to plunge on Mexican Food.
At Elvinos Mexican.
Plunging in quite literally!
The menu was straight forward and the owner a real host.
He brought us the most delicious nachos we have ever tasted.
Topped with 3 kinds of sauces.
And a plate full of tacos and chicken quesadillas.
He was so pleased with Indians guests that he offered us a cup of green tea with a warm chat.
Leidseplein street in Amsterdam is where you should head for food. Street full of restaurants offering every cuisine line up.
With happy bellies, we made way to the Dam Square.
A haven for tourists in Amsterdam.
The Royal Palace once chirped exclusivity here.
But now stands there the Dark Vader.
And then we decided to get spooked in the Amsterdam Dungeon.
This experience is also available in other parts of Europe but we were too tempted to wait.
Ofcourse, we could not take pictures inside, and we will not spoil it for you. But we did get to click some here and there.
And when we were completely spooked, we stepped out in the dark and entered a cannabis shop.
The rest of the night is a bit faded!
