Waking up to the sound of waves and hiking boats again for lunch is what we call an island life. Since Philippines has 7100 islands, they have naturally mastered the skills of living one.
And El Nido resorts on the Pangulasian islands is 2X island life.
The Banca boys picked us up again at midday.
Marking the sea with a trail.
And transporting us within 10 minutes at the dock of Miniloc Islands and resorts, another property owned by the same group.
In contrast to our traditional setup, these are more modern.
We happily sat ourselves at this hut restaurant to fill our seappetite.
To be washed down by a squished Mango.
After a hearty lunch, we set to accomplish serious life goals.
Watching the lagoons, caves & kayaking.
Bidding goodbye to Miniloc.
The big & small lagoons are the right shade of Turquoise. And then there are a thousand other shades of green among the plants.
Everyplace has a color and I would assign green to Philippines El Nido.
Sea-through waters that changed our opinion of entertainment within seconds.
Such an unfussy life can only be lived on an island.
Sailing away from the lagoons, we spotted the Cudugnon caves.
Anchoring to explore the caves.
Flanked by towering limestone cliffs & thick foliage.
Finally stopping to kayak.
A day in El Nido has so many things to do, the word pretty doesn’t even do justice. Breath-taking might be more apt.
