By the third day waking up to the sound of the waves feels homely and the hands naturally reach out to brewing a cup of fresh in-room coffee – prepping for the sunset cruise El Nido Palawan later in the day.
All morning was spent rolling on the bed that pampered with fresh crisp white linen and a not so usual morning reading session. Small Luxury Hotels of the world is a book custom made for luxury travelers.
The resort knows exactly what a guest would prefer for entertainment.
But as the mini wildlife outside grew louder, it is hard to resist coming closer to them.
And treat yourself to a infinite view.
Since this was a beach villa, having a walk even in the afternoon felt private and therapeutic.
With a sunbed couple perfectly stationed, reminding never to travel alone.
So its best to couple up with the beach and the wind and have a little walk party of your own.
Almost ready for the sunset cruise, we waited to hop on to the Banca boats near the hotel lobby.
Which obviously extends to the beach.
And even though the cloudy forecast hovered all day, the sky promised to be nice just as the ride arrived.
Off we went sailing into the sunset.
Waiving to the little companions around.
Just look to the other side and the color is golden.
With a surreal glow.
And on the third side, streaks of pink emerge.
Turn right back again and the blue hour is anchored as is.
Our sail was loaded with Champagne and crackers to keep our jaws under control after going a little crazy with the views.
After dusk set in, we glided back to our haven, just in time for another surprise.
A five course meal in a candle light dinner set up was waiting for us in the Kalaw villas area.
Kalaw villas are for groups – a set of four private villas in the secluded west end of the island, with a pool of its own.
Our little group of travel bloggers whisked the night away with the best conversations and travel stories of our own.
The squeaky sound of lizards, fresh aromas and floating pool candles kept us company.
With the sunset cruise El Nido Palawan arranged complimentary for all guests and this extravagant dinner, El Nido Resorts Pangulasian Islands spikes romance beyond imagination.
